QuickCRC Download

Automate responsibility driven design with CRC cards and design scenarios. Enter data for each object into CRC cards or drag attributes, responsibilities or collaborations between cards for instant design changes. Define and simulate scenarios to ensure the design works.

Design data can be exported to MacA&D, WinA&D or QuickUML to generate a UML model. CRC cards can be captured from source code with MacTranslator or WinTranslator.

QuickCRC is available for Windows and Mac OS X. Each product is a native executable that saves data to a common XML format so CRC cards can be edited from either platform.

The QuickCRC Windows package includes two applications, the Standard and Lite version. Both applications have the same feature set and use an interchangeable document. The Trial edition only includes the Lite version of QuickCRC.

The Lite edition supports up to 2000 CRC cards, requires just 256 MB RAM and runs quickly on an older machine. The Standard edition needs 1 GB RAM and supports huge projects of up to 10,000 cards. In both editions, editing changes and references between cards and scenarios are instantly reflected throughout the model.

How to Download, Install and Uninstall

To download an application, click the appropriate download link and save the installer file to your computer. A security warning may be presented when downloading or installing a file from the Internet. Security options can be imposed and controlled by the browser, OS, firewall or anti-virus software. For example, on Mac OSX, go to the security panel of your System Preferences and make sure the Allows Apps downloaded from anywhere option is selected.

Double-click the installer file and follow the onscreen instructions to install the application. To uninstall on Windows, choose the application name in the Control Panel. To uninstall on Mac OS X, simply drag the folder from the Applications folder to the trash.

When launching the first time on Mac, select the application, hold down the Control key and choose Open from the popup menu. On Windows 8 SmartScreen might present a dialog that requires you to click More Info, then click Run Anyway.
