The Educuational edition supports process models, state models, data models, class models, object models and structure models. It has code generation, integrated text specifications, code editing and browsing and a data dictionary.

This product is functionally similar to WinA&D Desktop but physically limited to smaller projects and only licensed for the purpose of teaching. WinA&D documents can be shared with MacA&D.

Projects consist of a collection of diagrams and dictionary information. The Educational edition has the following size limitations:

• Maximum of 500 objects per document
• Maximum of 500 entries per dictionary
• Maximum of 10 diagrams per document
• Maximum of 5 diagram documents referenced from dictionary
