An ExcelRT Cloud based application runs in a browser with similar capabilities to an App running on a local computer. Users can navigate between workbooks, between sheets of a workbook, enter data, import or export files, present dialogs, share data between workbooks or interact with Internet websites.
Since each user account is running from a virtual computer in the cloud, the user experience is almost identical regardless of the OS or age of the local computer or device. From a Mac, Windows, Linux or Chrome OS computer with a modern browser, the experience is almost the same. An App can run on Android or iOS phones or tablets. A developer may want to offer a small screen edition of the same App to improve the user experience on a phone or small tablet.
ExcelRT Cloud is a monthly service that provides a developer with their own fully managed ExcelRT Cloud server. You decide if or when to upgrade to a newer ExcelRT Cloud. Start or stop the server with a button click in the control panel or add, delete and manage Apps or Users.
The vendor or users can log into ExcelRT Cloud from a web browser. Your Login page and many aspects of the user experience can be customized from your Vendor account.
Base on the account size, the ExcelRT Cloud server can support multiple applications and many users. It provides the CPU, RAM, disk space and data transfer for all user accounts and Apps. Start small and increase your account as needed to support bigger applications or more users.
ExcelRT Cloud can optionally be linked to a Safe Activation account to manage an automated order. Create a user account, add a new App or suspend an App. An ExcelRT Cloud account can be linked to a Cloud Sharing account to share files with other Cloud or Desktop Apps.
