A License Metering System can be setup in minutes for any application without programming. The organization can ensure license compliance for purchased software running within a network or across the Internet. To configure a License Metering System, you will need QuickLicense Standard edition (includes the AddLicense tool) and either QuickLicense Server or Safe Activation to manage the floating licenses.
QuickLicense Server Approach

Use QuickLicense Server to generate the License Server and License Monitor. Run these executables on a computer in the organization's network. Internet access is not required.
Use QuickLicense to configure a floating license and AddLicense to generate a launch application that binds the license to a target application.
